"The performance of the prop was outstanding. It was very smooth and powerful in fwd. and rev. The prop is a wonderful change from the vibration that is prone to Max props.
Another nice feature is not having to get our boat up to at least 8 knots before we can shut down the motor and feather the props as we currently do with the Max props.

The simplicity of the design and the stainless steel construction is also a plus. For 7 years we have lived with a vibration problem that varied from the annoying to the severe and it is a memorable day to finally get rid of it."

"Entry in the 98 Sydney Hobart and a tight schedule required the run to Sydney from Melbourne to be accomplished motoring and motor sailing for most of the journey.

Again the props performed well and when during the race, in very heavy weather, Valtair sustained a broken fore stay fitting resulting in withdrawal some 10 miles off Eden, the Tristream props were more than adequate for the run to the safety of Eden.

Valtair's sailing master at the above date reported that there props have given nearly two years trouble free service and are still performing beautifully.”

“From the very first sea trial, the change was dramatic. The combination of additional horsepower and the three bladed props saw Bagatelle top eleven knots at maximum revs on flat water and cruising comfortably at eight.

Punching into a strong wind on choppy water, she can still make good speed. On one motor only top speed is as high as seven and a half knots with comfortable cruising at six. What an improvement!

But the "Piece De Resistance" has been the incredible reverse thrust the Tristream propellers have given to Bagatelle giving her maneuverability I had only ever dreamed about. The reverse pitch built into the design is a winner.”
